Jennifer Lopez Produced Dramatic Mini-Series "Como Ama Una Mujer" - airing on Univision and available on DVD this Fall!

Univision and Nuyorican productions announce an all-star cast for the Jennifer Lopez produced dramatic mini-series "Como Ama Una Mujer" - Jennifer Lopez's first 1st Spanish-Language TV Project. The five-part dramatic mini-series will debut on the Univision Television Network this fall.

The five episodes will be released on a 2-Disc DVD set on December 18 2008.

An original production filmed in Mexico, "Como Ama Una Mujer" (How a Woman Loves) is inspired by the lyrics of Jennifer's first Spanish-language album of the same name released earlier this year. At the end of each episode, Jennifer herself will perform the theme song that inspired that episode. The five part mini-series tells the story of a woman's journey to find her true soul-mate, but with her glamorous life and professional success come heartbreak and betrayals that threaten to break her spirit.

Jennifer Lopez expressed: "We are very excited to present this project with Univision and proud to share one of our original series with the Hispanic community."

In keeping with the high-profile nature of the eagerly awaited production, "Como Ama Una Mujer" will feature some of Spanish-language television and motion pictures' biggest stars:

· Chilean motion picture actress Leonor Varela (Blade II, The Tailor of Panama) portrays the lead character of Sofia, a famous singer/actress whose rise from humble origins to superstardom happened almost overnight, and finds her private life constantly under attack by paparazzi.
· Mexican motion picture star Raul Mendez (Los Justos, Un Mundo Maravilloso, Matando Cabos, The Legend of Zorro) plays Diego, someone from Sofía's past with plans for her future.
· Playing her soccer superstar fiancé, Andres, is Cristián de la Fuente, the internationally popular Chilean novela (Soñar No Cuesta Nada) and motion picture (Driven, Vampires: Los Muertos) actor.
· Mexican novela actress Gabriela de la Garza (Ángel, Las Alas de Amor, Belinda) plays Laura, a beautiful and successful socialite fashion designer and Diego's jealous girlfriend.
· Playing Andres' publicist, Barbara, is one of Mexico's top novela actresses Rebecca Jones (Cuna de Lobos, Dos Vidas, and Huracan).
· Mexican motion picture star Rocío Verdejo (Los Justos, Corazón Marchito) plays Adriana, Sofia's envious "friend" and assistant.
· In the role of Paco, Diego's friend and confidant, is Mexican motion picture actor Martin Altomaro (Un Mundo Maravilloso, Demasiado Amor).
· Mexican novela actor Josefo Rodríguez (Sombra del Otro, Miroslava) plays Fernando, Sofia's manager, who offers her wise advice and knows her better than she knows herself.
· Colombian singer/songwriter and recording artist Karoll Marquez (La Verdad, Cotidiano) plays Sofia's brother Nicolas.
· Mexican actor Luis Fernando Padilla (Destruir Dice, Mujer, Casos de la Vida Real) plays Felipe, Andres' best friend and soccer teammate.

Univisión y Producciones Nuyorican anuncian un cartel de estrellas para la mini serie “Como Ama Una Mujer” – producido por Jennifer López, en su primer proyecto de TV en lengua Española. La mini serie, compuesta de cinco capítulos se estrenará por la Cadena de Televisión Univisión este otoño.

Los cinco episodios serán lanzados en un juego de 2 DVD el 18 de Diciembre de 2008.

Una producción original filmada en Méjico, “Como Ama Una Mujer” está inspirada en las letras del primer álbum en español de Jennifer con el mismo nombre, el cual fue lanzado a principios de este año. Al final de cada episodio, Jennifer cantará la canción que inspiró ese episodio. La serie de 5 partes cuenta la historia de una mujer y su viaje por encontrar a su alma gemela, pero su vida glamorosa y éxito profesional traen desamor y traiciones que amenazan con romper su espíritu.

Jennifer López expresaba: “Estamos muy felices de presentar este proyecto con Univisión y orgullosos de compartir una de nuestras series originales con la Comunidad Hispana”.

Para preservar la naturaleza de alto perfil de esta esperada producción, “Como Ama Una Mujer” presentará algunas de las más grandes estrellas de habla Hispana de la Televisión y del Cine:

I enjoyed the mini-series very much- I'm hooked!!
Jennifer is good at everything she does shes awesome, acting, singing, dancing she is number one. all her CD's are off the hook. My favorite song of her's is "RYDE or DIE". I dedicated it to my Husband that passed away in 2005. I cry when I hear that song. It is my Good-bye, Rest in Peace song to my Husband. Thanks Jenny ,You always have a song, for everyone of my emotions, my feelings. Rather they are Happy or Sad. Your songs always put a smile in my face.. or make me feel better.

I always love everything Jennifer Lopez does.....or even did.....!! I'm such a fan of everything she does......even if it's not good at times.....i still force myself to like it.......but this new project she aired is awsome.....!!! I watch the first episode and loved it......it should be on everyday......not just once a week........can't wait to see the new one......!!!

But if u ever miss it when it comes on......you can always go to www.univision.com and watch the fool episode there......!! Just type in "Como ama una mujer" in the search area.....!!

I just finished watching the series its pretty good! It does resemble Jennifers life very much! its like in a way an insight of what she might of been going through at some point in her life even though I don't think everything is exact she might have made some changes I think it's pretty close. THE MINI SERIES IS GREAT I WOULD HAVE LOVED IT MORE IF IT WAS LONGER. BUT IT'S VERY INTERESTING AND I WILL NOT MISS IT AND I AM GETTING THE DVD.

I have been won over with Jennifer's mini series!!! Too bad it's only five episodes long.
Jennifer, you should seriously consider producing a telenovela.
The love scene between Sofia and Diego was tastefully done. I really look foward to
Tuesday nights. I'm definately getting the DVD. And the CD is incredible!!! The best yet.
Keep singing in Spanish.
