To celebrate an amazing occasion for Latin women everywhere, Jennifer Lopez threw a party this Monday to celebrate the appointment of Sonya Sotomayor to the Supreme Court. A small guest list of friends and politicians were treated to dinner and drinks in Sotomayor's honor at Lopez' Long Island home. Join Jennifer in congratulating Sonya Sotomayor, the first Latina Supreme Court Justice in history!

But her strategy goes bust when Mr. Right, Alex O'Loughlin (“Moonlight”, “August Rush”) shows up on the same day of her appointment. Now she and her new dream man must figure out love, marriage and family—in reverse.

Being cognizant, from personal experience, of what many people live without has provided both of us with a unique understanding of where the disparities in our society are and how important it is for each of us to try to address them - to make a tangible difference.

The number of women and children who live in an environment without access to quality health care or health education is far too great for us to ignore. After the birth of my newborns, whom I realized were receiving fantastic medical care, I also realized that my passion was not to just try to increase the access to healthcare for underserved women and children, but to try to improve the quality of this care for everyone, regardless of their ability to pay."
