This is maybe the best Jennifer´s album! I love all songs and I always sing those songs.. Jennifer is lovely singer, and I wonder why people think she has fans just because she´s beautiful.. That´s some kind of weird.

Since the first time i heard this song on the french radio NRJ, i can't stop loving it!

Un disco debut maravilloso, un proyecto que se nota fue planeado y que que esta bien hecho jennifer desde el inicio nos ofreció calidad y lo sigue haciendo, aunque cada una de las canciones son hermosas y las disfruto cada vez que las escucho, si tengo una favorita "Waiting For Tonight" esta cancion es perfecta el sonido, la letra, su voz, el video etc. ademas también me gustan "If You Had my Love"(un clásico ya), "Feelin' So Good", "Let's Get Loud", "No Me Ames", "Should' ve Never ", "Talk About Us" y "Es Amor" (cancion que aparece en la versión mexicana del álbum)

This is i think her best well rounded album because at this time in her career this was her first album and we all got to see and hear Miss.LOPEZ in her elemnet spanish english salsa,r&b everything this was a excellent album from the beginning until the the end i love JENNY *********VOY A TI MAMI**********ERES LA MEJOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion 'On The 6' passes the test for what makes a great album because when I listen to it now it still sounds fresh and current. Jennifer's vocals are really great and she already sounded like an experienced singer back in 1999. This album proves that she has always known instinctively exactly how to interpret a song. My favourite tracks are the ballads like 'Promise Me You'll Try' and 'No Me Ames' with Marc Anthony. I think this was the perfect debut for Jennifer and her fans will always love these songs.

Of course Jen had a great first album with a lot of hit songs on it, but the best thing of this album is and will always be "No me ames"... not only the most beautiful song ever, a remake of the italian song "Non amarmi" BUT the start of Jen's love of her life with Marc!!!
Whenever i listen to this song now I get so emotional thinking about them, their love and love in general

"On the 6" was the first album by Jennifer Lopez in 1999 and she showed that she was and still is an amazing performer on stage! "On the 6" was her chance to become a member of the music business and she did a great job with this album. "Waiting for tonight" and "Let's get loud" are two lovely dance tracks which are still great! There are a lot of dance songs on this record, but she also tried to record some ballads and mid-tempo songs. Well, for her first album she did a good job with this album although her voice isn't always strong on every ballad. I have to mention that she used a lot of background singer for the songs. In my opinion this is not her best album, because the mix of Pop, R&B, Hip Hop, Latin and New Wave is just too much. There is nothing special on this record besides "Waiting for tonight" and "Let's get loud". Also "If you had my love" is a lovely song, but not the best one she ever recorded. For a beginning she was quite good, but she knew that the day would come where she has to proof that she can sing. On this record she didn't proof that, she just wanted to have fun and record some dance songs. I am sure that this album was made for the charts and to make her a well-known person in the music business. People loved her and all singles made this album a hit-album in the charts. "Feelin so good" which was not very successful worldwide, is an example for a poor song without meaning. She is able to record good songs, but this was a bad idea to release it as a single. "On the 6" sold millions of copies and I think this album was important for her way in the music business. Also important to mention are the spanish songs which sound even better than the english songs. "Baila" or "No me ames" are two amazing spanish songs on this record. I am more into dance songs, so I guess this was a good album for fans of dance music and for fans of ballads. In my opinion "On the 6" was catchy, had a couple of brilliant songs and they made a lot of promotion for this album. After all I give 4 stars for "On the 6", because her singing isn't really good on every song.

I Love this album. it's her first and it was a great start for her music career.
