I totally agree with you. The 'concert' was not worth the money. I will agree - her dancing was very good but when you go to a concert you want the whole package especially when concert tickets for the JLO performance were so highly priced. I would have expected to see only live performances but I am 100% sure quite a bit of the performance was lip-synching. I assume protions of it were live-at least they appeared to be- but quite a few portions were not.
I understand that when someone is jumping around and dancing like that they can't be expected to deliver a studio performance. Also in the studio versions you would have some of JLO's vocals layered over her main vocals. OK so this can't be expected to be duplicated on stage unless pre-recorded vocals are used for portions of the songs. But this is where the backup singers some in. Were they really backup singers or not? Could they not have sung the refrain part of the song so that JLO could do the shout-outs and such? Why go with pre-recorded vocals?
And last but not least it was a very very short concert. One hour only?
JLO when you go to give a concert-no matter where it is-you have to respect your audience. Otherwise don't go. Especially when you've already cancelled out once before.
And to the company that organized it [Max Productions]: You couldn't have done a worse job. You left us waiting outside for much too long after the designated time that doors were supposed to open and the people you had assigned failed to give proper directions as to the correct entrance.
